The end of the Boyne Pier is beginning to collapse at an increasing rate (Boyne is Scots for basin).  The internal fill has been washed out and its foundation on the NW corner is weak.

Following experimental work on the main pier, detailed proposals have been prepared for its repair.  These will cost c.£250,000.

Many sources of assistance are being approached.  Support, donations and offers of assistance of any kind are much appreciated.
