Visitors are welcome, but are asked to observe the Scottish Outdoor Access Agreement. With regards to Cove Harbour the 'Land Manager' is the Harbourmaster. Cove has no public toilet; the nearest facility is in Cockburnspath.

DOGS
Please clear up and take home all dog mess. Dog mess in the grass, on the track, the verges, the beach or anywhere else is unacceptable. A bin is provided in the public car park. Dogs must not disturb residents or other visitors and be kept on a lead during the nesting season.

FIRES are only permitted with consent.

LITTER
Please take all litter home; litter bins are provided in the public car park. Please leave the beach cleaner than you find it.

FISHING
Leisure fishing is permitted, but regrettably catches are seldom good.

SCOOTERS
Due to issues of safety and security, scooter access is not available.

DRONES
Flying of Drones without written consent is not allowed in any circumstances.

GEOLOGY
Cove Harbour is part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest. No samples may be taken or damage done.

EVENTS, WEDDINGS etc
Organisers of group events asked to contact the Land Manager. Cove Harbour is unsuitable for weddings and similar events.

EMERGENCIES
Please call 999 & ask for the Coastguard, DO NOT ask for Fire, Police or Ambulance as their vehicles are too heavy and they do not have access.
